- Health and fitness data: Data retrieved from your wearable device (e.g. Garmin) including heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, sleep metrics, steps, and activity data.
- Nutrition data: Calorie and macronutrient data you provide or authorise us to retrieve from third-party nutrition tracking services.
- Training data: Workout logs, strength records, and training history you upload or enter into the service.
- Biometric data: Body weight, body composition measurements, and other metrics you provide voluntarily.
- Account credentials: If you provide third-party service credentials (e.g. Garmin login) for data retrieval, these are encrypted using AES-256 encryption and never stored in plain text.
- Payment information: Processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your card details.
- Usage data: Information about how you interact with the service, including message history and feature usage.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Deliver personalised wellness coaching insights based on your data.
- Retrieve and analyse data from connected wearable and nutrition services on your behalf.
- Send you daily or on-demand briefings and insights via Telegram.
- Process payments and manage your subscription.
- Improve the accuracy and relevance of our coaching outputs.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers located in Europe (Hetzner Cloud). We apply industry-standard security measures including:
- AES-256 encryption for sensitive credentials at rest.
- HTTPS (TLS) encryption for all data in transit.
- Access controls limiting data access to authorised systems only.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Third-Party Services
MANTA integrates with the following third-party services to deliver the product:
- Garmin Connect: For wearable health and activity data retrieval.
- Stripe: For payment processing. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
- Anthropic (Claude API): For AI-powered insight generation. Data submitted is governed by Anthropic's data processing terms.
- Telegram: For message delivery. Telegram's privacy policy applies to message data.
- Formspree: For waitlist form submissions. Their privacy policy applies.
5. Health Data Disclaimer
MANTA provides wellness coaching only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All insights are informational and educational in nature. Always consult a qualified health professional before making decisions based on health data.
We do not make claims of detecting, diagnosing, or predicting any medical condition.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as required to provide the service. If you cancel your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
7. Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations).
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
